The elapsed time for a task is the amount of calendar time the task takes, plus any nonworking time.
For example, suppose it takes three days to prepare drawings (duration) and you begin work on Friday, October 21 (Earliest
Start). With the usual Monday through Friday work week, the elapsed time for the task would be 5 days.
These attributes can all be displayed in the Schedule Chart.

Duration and elapsed time are also shown in the Project Table. The charts that are based on a span of time—the Resource Timeline, Task Timeline, and Resource Histogram—give their information in elapsed time.
